Personal Contact Information
For your own security, and that of other members, please do not post personal contact information such as names, home address, work address, home telephone number, work telephone number, etc., in the public forums. Remember, anyone could be reading these forums. Any such information will be removed upon notice by administrative team.

Junk Posting, Spamming & Signature Links / Profiles
Junk posts are posts (often repeated) that do not add anything positive to the overall content in the thread. Or posting links to websites, but contributing nothing to this community. These posts will be removed and your post count adjusted accordingly. This applies to ANY posts that do not pertain to the topic being discussed, so please try to keep your posts on topic. This also applies to Private Messages and excessive links in signatures / profiles. Only two, 2, links per signature with a normal text size of no more than 12. Anything larger will be removed without notice.

Flaming
Flaming of any sort will NOT be tolerated. If you have an issue with another member, please address that person privately. If you cannot resolve the matter on your own, please contact the site Admin or a moderator and we will try to help you reach a solution.

Images
Please keep images in signatures and posts to a reasonable size, (Reasonable maximum example for sigs: 418 pixels wide x 73 pixels high). Please keep images posted in threads to a reasonable size (max size of 600 x 500). If your picture must be large include a link, or thumbnail, in your post to your pictures. This will make life a bit speedier for members using dial up connections with slower modems.

Multiple Accounts
Some people find it funny to have multiple accounts on the same ip. We do not, and will delete any accounts assigned to single IP's at our discretion. This posses as a serious threat to security, and is a form of spam that will not be tolerated.

* Note: If you have registered multiple accounts, because you forgot your log in information, and wish to remain an active member of this community, please email the Admin [ a.earn@yahoo.com ] and let us know which account you would like to remain active with, otherwise we will delete ALL accounts.

Addition: Please do not share one account between multiple people. We more than welcome everyone within an organization to join EARN, in fact we encourage this. However, everyone needs to register their own account. Not only does sharing an account among multiple people prevent our members from getting to know one another and serves to create distrust, it also poses a security threat to the forums and our members. Because of this, we feel it is in the best interest of the forum and our members to suspend or ban accounts that are believed to be in violation of this policy.

Private Messages (aka PM)
Do not use E.A.R.N. solely as a means to converse privately and make new friends, or to recruit new members for your web site or forum (this is considered spam). We are here as a community first and foremost; and doing this will only "punish" our active members, as it takes away bandwidth that is rightfully theirs to use.

Moderators
Our moderators perform what is often a thankless job. They have the power to enforce rules and act on behalf of E.A.R.N.'s best interests. People posting anonymously or using multiple names when they want to cause trouble will be discovered as all members IP numbers can be seen. Moderator's decisions are final. Please bear in mind that our moderators generously volunteer their time, so there are limits to their availability, and the time in which they can respond to things. They also are the peace keepers and are here to ensure that all visitors enjoy their stay. I, as administrator of E.A.R.N., retain the right to delete and / or ban any member at any time at my own discretion without warning.

In regards to the portion of our forum guidelines outlining Multiple Accounts:

Multiple Accounts
Some people find it funny to have multiple accounts on the same ip. We do not, and will delete any accounts assigned to single IP's at our discretion. This poses as a serious threat to security, and is a form of spam that will not be tolerated.

* Note: If you have registered multiple accounts, because you forgot your log in information, and wish to remain an active member of this community, please email the Admin [ a.earn@yahoo.com ] and let us know which account you would like to remain active with, otherwise we will delete ALL accounts.

Because of this, we feel it is in the best interest of the forum and our members to suspend or ban accounts that are believed to be in violation of this policy.
