I just recieved an email today with pics and this bio. I didn't know if anyone could help.
We guess they are @ 6 months old. Their temperament is loving , they are starved for affection. My wife wanted to see just how calm they are so she pet the pit mix while he was eating (around the ears and side of the head) and he just kept eating and wagging his tail , she took her hand and moved the lab mix's food up to her mouth and she did the same. They are very loving but I have nowhere to keep them in at , I have four dogs inside that are about to have a nervous breakdown because they are living on the front porch. They are good about sleeping there at night and most of the day (we put a mat out for them and keep a food and water dish out just for them) they have been good watch dogs at night , very alert and obedient. We also have children and small children in the neighborhood and they are just as good with them. There was a lady living with her grandmother that was going to take them but her landlord where she was moving to (after his wife said yes!!) told her no at the last minute , she was on her way to pick them up from us. She sat in my driveway and picked around 25 ticks off him and we had to hold him and the worst thing he did was cry like a baby a few times but most of the time he was still wagging. She is a little feisty baby ,she likes to tackle him , I think they may be siblings if not they were together for a while because the have a special bond. If I didn't have a house full already they would have done been to the vet and piled up in here on the couch with me. My wife is on the verge of a nervous breakdown worrying about them , she has been on the phone to everyone she could find a # for in tears because nobody has room for these wonderful babies. They are about the same size but she has a smaller frame , he is not as skinny as before but you can still see his ribs. They eat good now , poor things eat like they are starving to death even though they get fed. They have been around other dogs and I have not seen any problems with them being aggressive toward any one or other animals.

there is a picture of them laying on the floor hugging each other. I just don't know how to post it. I can email it.

Bev, do you have a photobucket account?

https://www.photobucket.com.

You create an account, upload the photo and once the pic is uploaded, photobucket should give you the text "code" for posting the picture in the forum here.

Pictures make the difference in helping animals out..I really and truly feel that. Let me know if you need help Smile

I do not have permission to reply to my post on the two puppies. Yeah I have a personal photobucket account, I was getting to one for the rescues. I am new to this only less then a year and have taken over some of the computer things such as making a myspace page and a photo bucket. I also know that pics make the difference, right now they are just running around. They sound like they are well temperd

I'm sorry about the permissions being screwy here in the forums lately. I think I got it fixed, so you should be able to reply to threads on this forum now. Please let us know if you have ANY issues with the site at all... and I'll do my best to fix them ASAP.

Those 2 do look like they have a special bond... I really hope someone can step up and help you place them. Smile
